DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION
The Electronics and Communication industry continues to be a major growth area both in India and Worldwide and offer excellent job opportunities. For the constantly changing and expanding branch of engineering profession, students are trained to find new solutions to the practical problems affecting our daily lives. The program reflects the wide diversity of communication and data transmission technologies which are accepted as a vital part of our everyday lives from traditional radio, telegraphy and microwave systems to state-of-the-art Optical, Satellite and Cellular (mobile) communication systems.
The department is equipped with eleven state of the art laboratories so far and all modern experimental and computational facilities for taking up Research & Development activities in various fields. To cater to the ever-growing demand of trained professionals, industry specific training is provided to the students.

To give exposures to emerging edge technologies, adequate training and opportunities to work as team on multidisciplinary projects with effective communication skills and leadership qualities.
Program Specific Outcome (PSO)
An ability to understand the concepts of basic Electronics & Communication Engineering and to apply them to various areas like Signal processing, VLSI, Embedded systems, Communication Systems, Digital & Analog Devices, etc.
An ability to solve complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to arrive cost effective and appropriate solutions.
Wisdom of social and environmental awareness along with ethical responsibility to have a successful career and to sustain passion and zeal for real-world applications using optimal resources as an Entrepreneur.
