Position : Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)- CNC Shop
Career Path : Engineer ⇒Sr. Engineer⇒ Asst. manager⇒ Manager⇒ Sr. Manager⇒ Deputy General Manager⇒ General Manager
Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production Engineering)
Academics : Minimum 60% marks – Aggregate (without any year gap)
Training : 6 Months (Various Technical, Behavioral, Soft Skills training)
Probation : 6 Months ( Specific role will be assigned after training)

Job Description: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)- CNC Shop

Safety &5 S :
 Working with safe condition and follow Safety Practices and in case of any compliance
issues, report the same to Manager immediately.
 Following Establish safety procedures and usage of PPE and environmental regulations
for employees.
 Maintaining 5S in Shop/Machine & Office

Technical :
 Learning the Complete machine operations like Drawing Reading and understanding,
Job setup, referencing, manual Programming, Tooling Selection, machining Parameters,
use of various instruments etc.
 After 1 yr of training the candidate should be able to work independently.
 After training the candidate has to work on the machine to improve productivity by
using techniques like “Kaizen” and 7 QC Tools to maximize the productivity.
 Working on the machine with the process sheets and check sheet provided and
following good manufacturing Practices.
 Making the Production Report/Log book and responsible for the output in the shift.
 Carrying out Daily Maintenance Activities and recording the same.
 Reviewing the Inspection Report from QC and taking corrective action.
 Planning for the next job loading, checking of Drawing & Program Availability, Tool Kit ,
Inspection Method, spare Inserts availability.
 Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
 Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
 Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
 Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
 Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
