WILD LIFE WEEK 2019

‘The Wildlife Week 2019’ by the Forest Department was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  at the Mercury Hall, Indira Gandhi Pratisthan on the 4th October 2019.

Forest Department displayed technologies used by the Wild life Dept. and demonstrations of these were given to the Chief Minister.

AMBALIKA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, LUCKNOW

The products displayed by Ambalika institute are-

Ambalika Robotic Camera / surveillance vehicle A remote camera mounted on a Remote controlled Robotic vehicle. Used for spotting wild animals who enter human homes jeopardising human life.

Remotely monitored Cages- Wildlife dept. deploys large cage traps for capturing wavered wild animals. Now these traps can be remotely monitored on the mobile phone of the concerned ranger and appropriate action can be taken once the animal is trapped. This has been a great help in removing around the clock physical vigilance of the traps.

still underdevelopment, Tranquilizing gun mounted on a remote controlled vehicle- This will be used for tranquilising wild animals which accidentally hide themselves in the home of humans.
