1. To provide a strong foundation to the students through basic courses and value-added teaching in areas of technical fields, innovation, personality development, and competitive abilities, and to guide them in their respective disciplines.
2. To provide students with a flexible yet solid learning infrastructure through proactive and adaptive service systems.
3. To create and propagate knowledge and tools at the interfaces between areas of engineering, emerging industry trends, and other core areas of Applied Sciences and Humanities.

Well Equipped Laboratories:

1. The department has a sufficient number of experiments as per requirements (according to the courses mentioned in the AKTU syllabus scheme).
2. These laboratories are fully operational with hardware kits, apparatus, and consumables.
3. These laboratories have all the basic as well as advanced facilities to fulfill the requirements of the courses.
4. These laboratories are utilized by the students and faculty members of the Applied Sciences department for performing practical experiments and research.
