OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of a security committee is to safeguard an organization’s assets, which can encompass physical property, personnel, information technology systems and sensitive data.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBER

1. Maintain safety and security of movable and non-movable things of the institute.
2. Security arrangements for events both IN and OUT of the building.
3. Strengthening of security of any other areas that relate to the security of the building.
4. Review of activity logs of security personnel on a weekly basis.
5. Deputation of security personnel at entrance and exit points of the college/ hostel building.
6. Cater additional security personnel during university examinations.
7. Day and night security guards to be catered from respective security agency on requirement basis.
8. Security personnel are to be trained by the respective security agency to respond during emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches. They may also be responsible for evacuating building and providing first aid.
