Prof. Pandey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this esteemed position. Prior to his appointment at AKTU, he served as Vice-Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMUT). During his tenure at MMUT, he demonstrated exemplary leadership and innovation, helping the university achieve NAAC Grade A accreditation—the first for a technical university in Uttar Pradesh.

Prof. Pandey’s academic journey is equally impressive. He earned his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in 1987 and later obtained his PhD from what is now Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). His deep knowledge and passion for higher education have shaped technical education in Uttar Pradesh.

Prof. Pandey is committed to upholding the university’s reputation for excellence. His immediate priority is ensuring timely declaration of all pending results, demonstrating dedication to student academic progress.

He envisions AKTU leading in the digital landscape by promoting teaching, learning, and research in areas like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and drone technology. Embracing these advancements will foster innovative solutions and a dynamic environment for students and faculty.

Before his current role, Prof. Pandey served as AKTU Controller of Examinations, introducing digital evaluation and an online question paper delivery system. His progressive approach to technology will continue benefiting AKTU’s pursuit of excellence.
